About us

Giles and Molly (or Golly) are a couple who have a passion for travelling. We have been together nearly two years now. Giles is from Scotland originally and serves in the UK Armed Forces which allows him to travel to some rather unique places. His passions mostly center around sport: mainly Rugby, Skiing and Polo. Molly is from Lincolnshire and works in the NHS as an Occupational therapist. She is also active and enjoys playing Hockey. 

 

We are about to set sail (good pun) on our big journey around the world and we cannot wait. So when we sat down and decided where we would be going, it came up with a pretty wild list of locations. We decided we wanted to go to Turkey, Mongolia, South Korea, Borneo, Philippines, Japan, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina and Brazil! So quite the mix of locations - but we had a few rules when deciding. Firstly - we couldn't just go to somewhere you can go on holiday, so that ruled a lot of Europe out. Secondly we didn't want to do stopovers - what's the point!? Sitting in an airport for ten hours when we could go and see the place we are in. So that's why there are a few odd places in there as we might as well see it.

We leave in July and can't wait to get going with it all!
